Slightly better than the La Encantada, the 2016 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard reveals a medium ruby/translucent color as well as complex notes of dried cherries, strawberries, dried flowers, and spice. Elegant, ethereally textured, and balanced, drink it over the coming 5-7 years.

(48% new French oak) Deep bright-hued red. Ripe red berries, pungent flowers, vanilla and exotic spices on the deeply perfumed nose. Juicy, spice-accented bitter cherry and raspberry flavors spread out steadily and become spicier as the wine stretches out. The floral note returns on a very long, supple finish that features smooth tannins and a smoky mineral quality.
