2008 Fisher Syrah Hidden Terrace Vineyard

Inky purple. Blackberry, boysenberry and plum on the nose, with hints of violet and espresso in the background. Fleshy and sweet on entry, then firmer in the middle, with very good depth to its dark berry and floral pastille flavors. Dusty tannins add grip to the long, subtly smoky, sweet finish. I suspect that this will be drinkable on the young side thanks to its lavish fruit.
