The 2020 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru has a straightforward bouquet that just lacks the engaging personality discerned on some of its peers. The palate is well balanced with orange cordial, lime and light mandarin notes, good weight and acidity; a little oak lends some weight but is quite persistent and that wood will integrate with time. Very fine. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.
