Tasting notes
Coming from the Sugarloaf Mountain and Edcora Vineyards and a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley has rocking levels of currants, chocolate, gravelly minerality, and smoke. It's another powerful, rich, layered wine that has smoking mid-palate depth, sweet tannins, and just loads to love.

Composed of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Sage Ridge gives fragrant crème de cassis, spiced black cherries, preserved plums and lilacs with touches of chocolate box, wood smoke and tobacco plus a hint of crushed stones. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and structured with great freshness and loads of layers. 150 cases produced.
