Tasting notes
Ruby-red. Pungent aromas of raspberry and cherry skin, rose and smoky minerals. Lithe, sharply focused red fruit flavors stain the palate, with a note of bitter chocolate adding a deeper element. Becomes spicier with air and finishes with hints of mace and allspice. This is delicious right now.

The outstanding 2007 Pinot Noir Presidio Vineyard exhibits notes of incense, plum sauce, black tea, black currants, and subtle oak as well as smoke in its dense, rich, medium to full-bodied personality. Consume it over the next 5-8 years. A strong line-up of Pinot Noirs from Bonaccorsi, these cuvees reveal distinctive personalities, but all offer impressively high quality. The alcohol content of the single vineyard wines ranges from 14.7% to 15.3%, and the pH’s go from 3.72 to 3.89. All of them spend about 15 months in French oak (40% new). Tel. (310) 994-3207
