Fiddlestix and John Sebastiano, two well-known sites in the Sta. Rita Hills inform Rusack's 2014 Pinot Noir Reserve. Plump, juicy and forward, the 2014 offers attractive fruitiness, while also retaining a good deal of aromatics and freshness. Saline notes extend the mid-palate and finish in a classy, understated Pinot to drink now and over the next handful of years.

Darker in color than the Mount Carmel Vineyard, the 2014 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills Reserve offers classic notes of blood orange, wild strawberries and flowers in its medium-bodied, supple and elegant personality. The acidity is nicely integrated, it has fine, polished tannin and will evolve nicely through 2022.
