Tasting notes
With much lower alcohol (14.3%) than usual, the 2008 offers up notes of sweet cherries, raspberries, pomegranate and forest floor in its medium to full-bodied, ripe, round personality. Relatively mature with impressive purity and texture, it has the stuffing and overall balance to evolve for another decade or more.

Bright ruby. Intense, floral-accented aromas of dark berries and cherry, with complicating notes of anise and dried herbs. Brighter red fruits in the mouth, which features cherry and rose qualities and mounting spiciness. The most powerful and darkest in character of this set of pinots; the finish is broad, chewy and very long.
