Tasting notes
The 2018 Cabernet Franc is a beauty. Based on 78% Cabernet Franc and 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, it reveals a vivid purple color as well as a beautiful floral bouquet of blue fruits, violets, candied orange, and cedary herbs. This carries to a medium to full-bodied, incredibly elegant, ethereal Cabernet Franc with a terrific mid-palate, flawless balance, and seamless tannins. It will benefit from 3-4 years of bottle age and keep for two decades.

Produced from 78% Cabernet Franc and 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Cabernet Franc prances out of the glass with bold expressions of kirsch, wild blueberries and black raspberries with hints of dried Provence herbs, underbrush and pencil shavings. The medium-bodied palate has lots of bright red berry and plumy flavors with a lively backbone of freshness and light grip of chewy tannins, finishing on a mineral note.
