Score 90+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jan 2005
Moderately saturated medium red. Crushed redcurrant and raspberry aromas along with sweet oak scents on the slightly reduced nose. Juicy and penetrating, with sappy flavors of red cherry, rose petal and minerals. Conveys a very fresh crushed fruit character. Finishes with sweet, easy tannins and vibrant flavors of red raspberry and red cherry. Bright, juicy, youthful pinot noir that should be even better for a couple years of additional bottle aging.
