Tasting notes
A special release in magnum, this gives so much with dried apples, limes and grapefruit with chalk undertones and flint. Medium-bodied with very fine phenolics and racy acidity that add length and complexity. It goes on for minutes. So much life and enjoyment ahead. Over 10 years on the lees. 55% pinot noir and 45% chardonnay. Disgorged November 2019. Drink now. 3,000 bottles.

Excellent craftsmanship, albeit within quite a discretely framed ensemble. Stone fruit and verbena notes with a chalky minerality show this is still amazingly youthful and quite tight at the moment.
This has settled into a good place with pink grapefruit, cherries and peaches melded into savory, nutty complexity. The palate is super fine, long and crisp. This has attractive depth and drive. The acidity holds long. Disgorged in June 2015. Drink now.
