Tasting notes
From an estate vineyard in St. Helena, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon V Madrone Vineyard boasts a saturated purple hue to go with ripe, sexy, opulent aromas and flavors of black raspberries, crème de cassis, tobacco, chocolate, and forest floor. Hoefliger made a bevy of brilliant wines in 2017, and this beauty has sweet tannins, mouth-filling levels of fruit, and a stacked mid-palate. It’s another winner to enjoy over the coming 15 years or more.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon V Madrone Vineyard rocks up with effortlessly seductive black cherries, dark chocolate and cassis notes plus hints of cardamom, tilled soil and tobacco leaf. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with black fruits, framed by bold freshness and chewy tannins, finishing earthy and just a little firm at this stage.
