Full red. Somewhat low-toned aromas of redcurrant, raspberry jam, chocolate, coffee, underbrush and oak. Supple on entry, then rather extractive and gritty in the middle, with dry-edged flavors of clove and cinnamon. I don't find a lot of fruit here. Finishes with dusty tannins.

There are 3,014 cases of the 2003 Pinot Noir Andreen-Gale Cuvee. With a creamy, oaky nose as well as plenty of sweet cherry, black fruit, spice, and vanilla cola-like aromas, it is a medium to full-bodied, fleshy, spicy, long wine to enjoy over the next 4-5 years.
