Tasting notes
A juicy, voluptuous wine, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Three Acre fleshes out nicely in the glass. Dark red cherry, plum, spice, new oak and leather are all laced together in an attractive Cabernet Sauvignon to drink now and over the next few years. The silky, layered finish only adds to the wine's immediacy and sheer appeal.

Bright medium ruby. Highly perfumed nose offers candied dark berries, minerals and bay leaf accented by pepper, mint and violet. Densely packed, juicy and penetrating but youthfully wound-up, showing a tight core of minerality. Finishes with attractive spicy oak and building tannins that reach the incisors.
David Arthur's 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Three Acre is gorgeous in this vintage. Dark, racy and expressive, the 2012 covers the palate with blue/black fruit, smoke, tobacco and spices. The aromas and flavors really blossom in the glass, nearly covering the slightly angular tannins that are the hallmark of this site.
