Tasting notes
Apricots, lemons, cream cheese, toast and apple crumble on the nose. Lovely texture and length here, with a full body and bright acidity. Just-ripe fruit evolves to clotted cream and pastry elements. Beautiful persistency. Barrel-fermented grapes from Mineral Springs vineyard (Yamhill-Carlton) and from Tarren vineyard (Eola-Amity Springs). From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink now or hold.

The 2020 Chardonnay Estates is scented of flint, honey, baked apples and allspice with pastry nuances. The medium-bodied palate has a core of honeyed fruit and flavorful finish, although there's the slightest hint of bitterness and grip on the finish. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
