Tasting notes
The 2015 Left Bank Blend has turned out very nicely. Plump, juicy and delicious, the 2015 will drink well right out of the gate. Bright red cherry, raspberry, cedar, licorice and mint lead into dark notes of chocolate, leather and smoke. Open-knit and supple, the Left Bank Blend is a tasty wine to drink now and over the next few years.

The 2015 Proprietary Red Left Bank, a blend of 54% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot, is medium to deep garnet-purple colored with warm plums and baked berries on the nose with hints of garrigue and tapenade plus an herbal waft. The medium to full-bodied palate is chewy with youthful black fruits and herbal accents, finishing a little abruptly.
A real powerhouse, the 2015 Left Bank Blend wraps around the palate with serious depth and intensity. The flavors are amped up to the max because of the low yields of the year. Dark, powerful and authoritative, with plenty of supporting structure, the 2015 is shaping up to be a real beauty.
