Score 91/100 · Drink 2016-2026, Robert Parker, Oct 2016
The 2014 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is sourced from Dijon clones 115, 777 and the Pommard selection, and aged in 40% new French oak. This is a vineyard right at the edge of the Petaluma Wind Gap on a relatively cold site. Deep ruby in color, this wine offers up floral notes intermixed with sassafras, raspberries, forest floor and strawberries. It is lush and ripe, from destemmed grapes, with a medium to full body and beautiful purity. Drink it over the next decade.
