Tasting notes
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Loess impresses with its soothing mix of sweet flowers, plums and hints of floral underbrush. This is soft and supple on the palate, with ripe dark fruits and sweet tantalizing spices that resonate. This tapers off with a black hole of tannins, yet somehow leaves the mouth watering with violet and lavender notes that slowly taper off. The 2019 really sneaks up on you with its power and concentration.

The 2019 Loess Vineyard comes all from loess soils, which are common throughout the Walla Walla Valley. Brought up all in once-used French oak, its saturated purple color is followed by a juicy, forward bouquet of red and blue berry fruits as well as pretty flower, minty herb, and chalky mineral-like nuances. Pure, full-bodied, balanced, and elegant on the palate, it's as seamless as they come, yet still brings that classic Leonetti tannic grip with air. Give bottles 3-4 years if you can.
