Tasting notes
The 2021 Single Vineyard Series Serra Pedace is floral and perfumed, with a classic bouquet of graphite, crushed stones, dried herbs and blackcurrants. Soothingly round and pliant, this washes across the palate with a savory mix of wild blueberries and blackberries, all underscored by salty mineral tones. The 2021 finishes with staining length and potency as echoes of licorice and inner rose fade. It's pleasantly chalky on the close.

Also all varietal, the 2021 Serra Pedace Vineyard has a pure nose of crème de cassis, freshly sharpened lead pencils, leather, and a hint of bloody, iron-like nuances. It's another incredibly impressive, concentrated, structured wine in the lineup that has so much to love. Hide bottles for 3-4 years and enjoy over the following two decades. This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 22 months in new barrels.
Gorgeous aromas of blackberry leaves, cedar, black currants, paprika and cocoa. It’s medium- to full-bodied, complex and elegant, with firm and fine tannins running the length of the wine, beautifully integrated with the fresh, spiced fruit. Very long and concentrated while remaining modest. 100% cabernet sauvignon. Drink from 2025.
