Tasting notes
Checking in as a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Petit Verdot, and the rest Merlot, the deep purple-hued 2017 Blend 27 has a wonderful bouquet of pure crème de cassis, tobacco leaf, cedarwood, and graphite, with a hint of loamy earth and soil. Deep, beautifully layered, full-bodied, and balanced, it shines for its purity of fruit as well as ripe, polished tannins. It's well worth seeking out and a hidden gem in the lineup.

The 2017 Blend 27 is comprised of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Petit Verdot and 14% Merlot. Very deep garnet-purple colored, it sings of crushed red and black currants, blackberry pie and wild blueberries with touches of camphor, oolong tea, tobacco and tar. Full-bodied, the palate is generously fruited with a firm, ripe, grainy texture and plenty of freshness, finishing long and earthy.
