Saturated ruby. Roasted black raspberry on the nose. Supersweet on the palate, with a distinct mineral component and an impression of strong extract. This rather powerful ruby port boasts terrific fruit but does not yet show the fruitcake complexity of the 2006 or that wine's seamless texture.
