Tasting notes
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War is one of the most distinctive wines in the range. Powerful, racy and super-expressive, the 2016 captures all of the radiance that comes so naturally in this northern sector of St. Helena. Sweet dark cherry, tobacco, menthol and new leather all build as this racy Cabernet shows off its flamboyant personality.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War Bisagno Vineyard (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is medium to deep garnet-purple colored and delivers notions of chocolate-covered cherries, mulberries and cassis with hints of baking spices, pencil shavings and bay leaves. Full-bodied, concentrated and jam-packed with black berry and savory layers, it has firm, grainy tannins and a lively line, finishing very long and multifaceted. 25 cases produced.
