Deep ruby. Fresh black and blue fruits, incense and candied flowers on the nose, along with building mineral, olive and game nuances. Sweet, chewy and focused on the palate, offering spice-laced blueberry and floral pastille flavors and a strong suggestion of smoky bacon. In a vaguely rustic style, with dusty tannins lending shape to the long, floral- and mineral-tinged finish.
