Taking on a darker tone, the 2018 Pinot Noir Home Ranch opens to notes of ripe black cherry, cola spice, and pressed flowers. Medium to full-bodied, gushing fruit fills the palate, with a lush, rounded mouthfeel and a nice clean lift on the finish. Offering loads of immediate fruit, it is drinking well now and will drink well over the next 5-6 years.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Chenoweth Ranch comes from a 7-acre vineyard in the Green Valley of the Russian River Valley. The aromatics lift with spice, fresh sage, and cherry lozenge. It has ample structure, with ripe tannins and persistent energy throughout. There is no hurry here to open this one, but drink it over the next 8-10 years.
