Tasting notes
Composed of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon with 5% Cabernet Franc, the deep purple-black colored 2015 Vaca Red Wine Blend reveals vibrant black cherries, blackberries and wild blueberries notes with suggestions of black soil, black pepper and aniseed plus a hint of cardamom. Full-bodied with bags of black berry and exotic spices in the mouth, it has a chewy texture and a peppery kick on the finish.

Readers looking for a great value should check out the 2015 Vaca Red Blend which is 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Merlot. This beauty spent 22 months in 61% new French oak and offers lots of Cabernet Franc like violets and floral nuances as well as more cassis, leafy herbs and damp earth. It’s medium to full-bodied, pure, polished, and elegant, with a seamlessness that makes it already a joy to drink. It’s going to keep for two decades.
