Tasting notes
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Sagemoor begins with an impressive nose that is lush and full, with a robust blackberry essence, vibrant floral bouquet and exotic spices in the glass. Full-bodied, the palate is clean and correct with a bright core of fruit that is dense and chewy, giving it complexity. There is good concentration on the long, drawn-out finish. Only 200 cases made. This is delicious.

Bright medium red. Redcurrant, licorice and a whiff of tobacco leaf on the nose, along with some very ripe suggestions. Slightly high-toned wine with a seamless texture and limited easy sweetness to its red berry and menthol flavors. Showing more texture than flavor complexity today. Initially supple tannins turn a bit dusty and dry with air.
