Offering lots of pretty mint, graphite, lead pencil and floral notes, with plenty of fruit, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Grassini Vineyard is medium to full-bodied, rounded, pretty, and even a touch sexy on the palate. Seeing 22 months in 60% new French oak, it’s another impressive Bordeaux blend from the Central Coast that readers should check out.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Grassini Vineyard is soft, succulent and expressive, with attractive sweet red plum, flower and mint flavors. Silky and inviting, the 2013 will be hard to resist right out of the gate. I would prefer to drink it on the young side, while the fruit remains vibrant.
