Score 91/100 · Robert Parker, Dec 2008

The gorgeously aromatic 2007 Sauvignon Blanc Rosemary’s Block exhibits notes of Thai lemon grass, honeyed grapefruit, melons, and a hint of figs. Complex, with beautiful fruit, a lush, layered texture, and a dry, crisp finish, it will provide immense pleasure over the next several years. Peter Young’s Dry Stack Wine Cellars appears to have a Midas touch when it comes to Sauvignon Blanc. P.S. Because of conflicts with the Dry Sack Sherry firm, Dry Stack is changing its name to Grey Stack, but according to their web site, nothing will change, including the wines’ names.
