Score 87/100 · Drink 2016-2020, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul 2016
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a bit sweeter and more giving compared to the 2013 tasted alongside it, but also less complex. Crushed flowers, tobacco, herbs and dried stone fruits along with silky tannins add to the wine's near-term appeal. Drink this mid-weight, supple Cabernet over the next few years.

Floral aromatics of violet and hothouse blossoms – large, exuberant blooms. Generous dark fruit with herbal accents and a long chocolate-liqueur finish. Tactile tannins. Moderate acidity. Will open with air and likely improve with a couple years in bottle. (ECB)
