2006 Bacio Divino Pazzo Call Me Crazy

The seductive 2006 Pazzo may not be as rich as the 2005, but it offers a boatload of pleasure at a realistic price. It is a peppery, spicy, slightly herbal, deliciously fruity red that is meant to be consumed during its first 2-4 years of life. Pazzo remains the perfect bistro wine from proprietor Claus Janzen’s blend of Sangiovese and a few other grapes. Claus Janzen has been branching out into single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons, of which there are three – one from the Janzen estate vineyard, one from Cloudy’s Vineyard, and one from the renowned To-Kalon Vineyard owned jointly by Andy Beckstoffer and the new owners of Robert Mondavi.
