Tasting notes
Classy notes of crushed citrus, lemon, orange blossom, and hints of green almond emerge from the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc, which is medium-bodied and has a fresh, vibrant style, terrific balance, and a great finish. This is a serious Sauvignon that can be drunk today or cellared for 4-5 years.

The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is fabulous. The balance of textural richness and energy makes for an absolutely compelling wine. The Sauvignon Blanc is done in equal parts concrete egg and oak, with less stirring, an approach that works beautifully in amping up varietal flavors while maintaining energy, verve and cut . The blend includes 30% Sauvignon Musqué, a clone that adds distinctly exotic, floral aromatics.
Composed of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sauvignon Musque, the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc was aged for nine months in neutral French oak and concrete egg. The nose opens with lovely white peach and grapefruit notes plus hints of lemon drops and elderflower. Medium-bodied, elegant, soft-spoken and refreshing, it finishes long and with loads of savory and mineral sparks. Gorgeous! 149 cases were made.
