Tasting notes
Full bottle 1,430 g. A 'multi-vintage, multi-varietal wine crafted from … estate fruit across our vineyards', apparently. Pale peachy pink. Chalky minerality and bright, crunchy strawberry fruit with crystalline acidity and a leesy weight on the palate. Seriously tasty. (SCJ)

The NV Rosé R has a pale cherry-pink color and aromas of red berries, citrus peel and dried flowers. The palate is berry-laced and refreshing with anchoring texture that will allow it to pair well with food.
("barrel-aged in French oak," according to the winery) Light bright orange. Potent, mineral-accented tangerine, raspberry and peach aromas are complemented by suggestions of succulent herbs and candied rose. Sappy, seamless and gently sweet, offering juicy red berry, blood orange and floral flavors while a spine of juicy acidity adds lift and structure. Nicely balances power and delicacy and finishes subtly spicy and long, featuring an echo of candied orange zest. The blend of varieties here is a proprietary secret, as is the oak regimen. The vintage, or blend of vintages, is also a mystery and the only way to tell what bottling this wine might be is to look for the Roman numerals on the cork.
