Score 88/100 · Drink 2016-2022, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Mar 2015

Ken Wright started working with vines in the Carter Vineyard in 1990 on west-facing vines on shallower soil with exposed basalt. The 2012 Pinot Noir Carter Vineyard has a pure red cherry and blueberry-scented bouquet with more floral scents compared to the Canary Vineyard '12. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, mulberry and dark plum fruit with a light marine influence on the finish. Fine.
