Round Pond's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate features scents of cherries, caramel and dark chocolate. Full-bodied and supple in feel, with some pleasantly grainy tannins and decent grip on the finish, it's a solid effort for near-term enjoyment.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is floral, lifted and delicate. The aromatics here are so enticing. This mid-weight Cabernet is all finesse. Red berry fruit, mint, flowers, cedar and spice are all finely knit together in a super-classy Cabernet from Round Pond. The 2019 is such a pretty wine.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate comes from both Rutherford and Oakville, and it's another beautiful wine from this estate. Lots of pure cassis, assorted blue fruits, violets, and floral notes define the bouquet, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a pretty, elegant texture, supple tannins, and a great finish. Just classic, it’s an impeccably made Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the coming 10-15 years.
The 2019 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, plush and super-expressive. Black cherry, leather, spice, menthol and dried herbs are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. There is plenty of depth and intensity, but all the elements are so well balanced that I think the 2019 will drink well with minimal cellaring. The 2019 Estate is shaping up to be a real jewel of a wine.
