Score 93/100 · Drink 2016-2026, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Aug 2016
Supple, pure, polished and loaded with fruit, the 2014 Pinot Noir Solomon Hills Vineyard offers tons of strawberry, wild flowers, spice and hints of licorice in its fruit-forward, plump, mouth-filling style. Despite all of the fruit, it has bright acidity and stays clean, fresh and focused on the finish. I love this vineyard, and this 2014 was destemmed (all of the Pinots here are destemmed) and aged 17 months in 33% new French oak. Drink it anytime over the coming decade.
