The medium ruby-purple colored 2016 Pinot Noir Wild Thyme Vineyard is profoundly scented of crushed blackberries and wild blueberries with hints of chocolate box, anise, black soil and violets. Rich, voluptuous and full-bodied in the mouth, it fills the palate with spicy black fruits, complemented by just enough freshness and finishing long and perfumed. 100 cases produced.

Bright red cherry, pomegranate and blood orange are just some of the notes that begin to emerge as this delicate, nuanced Pinot Noir opens in the glass. The Martinelli lineup includes a number of real beauties. The Wild Thyme Pinot makes a compelling case for itself as the fairest of them all.
