2013 Argot Chardonnay Simpatico Ranch

The 2013 Chardonnay Simpatico Ranch comes from the floor of Bennett Valley and is made from the Old Wente clone of Chardonnay which is so popular throughout Northern California. From a vineyard adjacent to Matanzas Creek, the wine exhibits crisp apple blossom, orange marmalade and a touch of pineapple in a tart, fresh, medium-bodied style. It was all barrel-fermented and spent 18 months in wood, which is not noticeable whatsoever. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
