2015 Arnot-Roberts Cabernet Sauvignon Montecillo Vineyard

Of the three Cabernets in the range, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Montecillo Vineyard appears to have been the most affected by the unique growing conditions that year. The Montecillo is rich to the point of being shockingly ripe for an Arnot-Roberts Cabernet. Black fruit, chocolate, leather and licorice are boldly sketched. Overall, the 2015 comes across as a bit monolithic, roasted and rough around the edges.
