(a 50/50 blend of sauvignon blanc and semillon done with wild yeasts; no malolactic fermentation): Bright full yellow. Good lift to the musky pineapple and spice aromas and flavors. The middle palate boasts intense stone fruit flavors framed and lifted by crushed stone and menthol nuances. Offers lovely subtle sweetness and excellent finishing fruit. (Josh and Jacquelynn Peeples are responsible for the Chateau Boswell and Jacquelynn labels; both sets of wines are made by Luc Morlet.)

The gorgeous 2009 Cuvee Blanc (a blend of equal parts Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc aged in 100% French oak with no malolactic fermentation) reveals waxy, honeysuckle and citrus oil characteristics in an elegant, medium to full-bodied style with good acidity. This is an exotic, singular, big dry white that should age well. Tel. (707) 963-5472
