As always, the 2015 Pinot Noir 4 Barrel comes from the top four barrels in the winery in every vintage. It's another lifted, gorgeously perfumed 2015 that has depth and richness, as well as freshness, purity, and finesse. Sensational notes of violets, crème de cassis, plums, incense, and hints of licorice all flow to a beautifully textured, full-bodied 2015 that shows the elegant, silky style of the vintage, yet backs it up with serious richness. Nuanced, yet still powerful and layered, it's a killer wine!
The 2015 Pinot Noir 4-Barrel is shaping up to be tremendous. It may also be the single most exceptional Pinot I have tasted at Kosta Browne over the years. Deep, dark and explosive, the 2015 exudes richness and pedigree. The 100% whole clusters are nearly buried by the sheer luxuriousness of the fruit. Vineyard sites are Keefer, Giusti, Koplen and Gap's Crown.
