Lovely mossy notes jump out, together with sous-bois, earthy berries, roasted licorice and spices. A richer palate for pinot, with medium to full body. Yet, it shows real character and firm, polished tannins. Good length with sweet berries. Drink or hold.
Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2018 Pinot Noir Larry Hyde comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant notes of Morello cherries, pomegranate and raspberry coulis, plus hints of roses, tilled soil and wild sage. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with intense red berry layers, framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and perfumed.
