Limpid ruby. Incisive, spice-accented cherry, red currant and blood orange aromas give way to deeper blue fruits as the wine opens up. Juicy and animated on the palate, offering appealingly sweet raspberry, boysenberry and rose pastille flavors supported by an undercurrent of juicy acidity. Fine-grained tannins build steadily through an impressively long, focused finish that leaves bitter cherry and spicecake notes behind.

A perfumed, initially reductive nose of red plum, raspberry, redcurrant, dried earth and orange peel. Medium-bodied with fine, silky tannins and bright acidity. Vibrant and velvety on the palate with spicy character. Long, lively finish. Drink or hold.
