2014 Failla Syrah Estate

The 2014 Syrah Estate Vineyard is a striking cool-climate Syrah loaded with aromatic nuance and complexity. Lavender, black pepper, and dark blue/purplish fruit are all nicely supported by beams of underlying tannin. The Estate is a deep, layered Syrah, but like so many of these wines, it delivers considerable flavor intensity with no excess weight. Expressive floral notes add to an overall impression of freshness on the finish.
