1995 Cakebread Cabernet Sauvignon Three Sisters

The 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Sisters comes from hillside vineyards planted on the eastern side of Napa Valley. The wine exhibits a saturated dark ruby/purple color, followed by a pure nose of cassis, minerals, and subtle new oak. Rich and expansive in the mouth, with power and concentration nicely allied to finesse and elegance, this wine possesses a soft texture, as well as enough tannin and acidity for delineation. Charming and intense, this is a beautifully-rendered Cabernet Sauvignon that can be drunk now, or cellared for 10-15 years.
