Tasting notes
Aaron Pott's 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Le Nouveau Western is pliant, supple and accessible, with attractive floral and savory notes that add character. Soft, silky tannins add to the wine's open-knit, accessible feel. Time in the glass brings out a host of bright red stone fruit, chalk and floral notes. This understated, polished Cabernet is classy to the core.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Le Nouveau Western comes from the Star Vineyard in Rutherford. It’s a pure, silky, velvety textured Cabernet that offers loads of plums, black cherries, spice-box, lavender, and dried flower characteristics in a medium to full-bodied, beautifully layered, and forward style. I love its balance, it has no hard edges, moderate acidity, and is already impossible to resist. It will keep for two decades.
