Score 98/100 · Drink 2013-2028, Robert Parker, Nov 2013
One of the highest rated Mt. Carmel Chardonnays produced in the early days, the 2006 has eclipsed its initial lofty score of 96. A profound Chardonnay with spectacular length, stunning richness, a light gold color, and hints of popcorn, honeysuckle, pineapple and marmalade, this full-bodied white builds incrementally, revealing refreshing acidity that buttresses the enormous extract and richness. No new oak is apparent in this remarkable wine. It should drink well for 15 or more years.
