Tasting notes
Showing some good development, autumnal dried leaves and a note of menthol and tobacco spice. A leafy bite on the mid palate and well-integrated firm tannins. The alcohol is certainly present and dominates a touch on the end. However, the fruit is pure, and is developing nicely. Drink soon. (AC)

Beautiful Pritchard Hill-like blue fruits dominate the bouquet of the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach Vineyard, which is rich, full-bodied, and plump on the palate. More violets, spice, and dried herb characteristics, as well as a sense of minerality, develop with time in the glass, and this beauty has building structure and loads of character.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach Vineyard turned out nicely. Concentrated, deep and dense, the 2017 offers plenty of richness, with less of the searing tannins that are often found in this site. That's a good thing, as it means the wine will be ready to drink relatively early. Blackberry jam, grilled herbs, menthol, licorice, sage and lavender are some of the many intriguing notes that infuse the Stagecoach with tremendous character now.
The very deep purple-black colored 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach Vineyard gives up a beautiful nose of lilacs, wilted roses and black cherry compote over a core of cassis and warm blackberries with nuances of licorice and baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, the palate bursts with black fruit and spicy sparks, framed by firm, chewy tannins, finishing long and lively.
