2016 Arnot-Roberts Pinot Noir Peter Martin Ray Vineyard

Another of the many highlights in this lineup, the 2016 Pinot Noir Peter Martin Ray Vineyard is fabulous. Rich and expansive on the palate, the 2016 has tremendous depth, not to mention tons of overall intensity. Layers of fruit unfold in this beautifully nuanced, resonant Pinot Noir. All the elements simply fall into place. Yields were down a whopping 50%. Perhaps because of that, the Peter Martin Ray is unusually exuberant. Even so, it remains very much within the classic Arnot-Roberts style. In 2016, the fruit was fully destemmed because of mildew pressure on the stems.
