The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is one of the riper, more upfront and sexy wines in the lineup. A monster bouquet of spiced plums, currants, candied violets, and flowery incense all emerge from this ripe, full-bodied, incredibly expressive beauty. With plenty of ripe tannins, good balance, and a big finish, it's ideal for drinking over the coming 10-15 years. It's not for those looking for old school, Bordeaux-like characteristics.

Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville (100% Cabernet) bursts from the glass with open-knit fruitcake, baked blackberries and crème de cassis notes plus hints of potpourri, molten chocolate, dried mint and Chinese five spice with a waft of fertile loam. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and plush, the palate is packed with spicy black fruit preserves, finishing with a proactive minty kick.
