2014 Larkin Cabernet Franc

I really loved the 2014 Cabernet Franc, which was 85% Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, coming from the Pocai Vineyard that is not far from the famous Three Palms Vineyard, which Duckhorn made famous producing Merlot. This is a supple, luscious style of Cabernet Franc with a dense ruby/purple color, a sweet kiss of forest floor, incense, licorice and white flowers as well as chocolate, black cherry and blackberry. The fruit is terrific, the wine opulent, fleshy and best drunk over the next 10-12 years.
