Tasting notes
The darkest colored in the lineup, with notions of cassis, smoked earth, violets and forest floor, the 2014 Pinot Noir la Rinconada is medium-bodied, nicely concentrated and fresh, with a vibrant, rich, textured, yet structured vibe. It's a beautiful wine that Burgheads should love.

The 2014 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard presents a super-classic sense of Sta. Rita Hills exuberance, but tempered by Justin Willet's hand. Racy and forward in its fruit profile, the 2014 wraps around the palate with striking textural depth, yet there is plenty of structure to back things up. This powerful, deep Pinot could use another few years in bottle. This is the most overt and flamboyant of the Tyler Pinots.
